Monica White is a visionary educator and innovator in the field of K-12 education. As the founder of Elevate Academy Career Technical Charter School, Monica has revolutionized the educational landscape in Idaho by creating a system that seamlessly integrates academic learning with career technical education. Her mission is to bridge the gap between education and the workforce, ensuring that students are not only academically proficient but also equipped with practical skills for high-demand career fields.

With a rich background as a former Principal and Teacher, Monica has over two decades of experience in education management. Her expertise spans academic coaching, secondary education, classroom management, educational consulting, and lesson development. Monica's passion for youth and their role in the community has driven her to redesign curricula and foster a workforce culture that values and supports students' growth and success. She is now leading her team in opening a fifth Elevate Academy school.

Monica read her friend Jackie Insinger’s book Spark Brilliance (2022) and decided to bring the ideas in the book to her educators in her Idaho schools. The impact was amazing: teachers felt re-energized, student engagement skyrocketed, and schools saw a shift toward trust, connection, and improved performance—all while reducing burnout.

That’s when Jackie and Monica knew: This isn’t just a leadership framework. This is the missing piece in education.

Now, together they are launching a national movement with their new book, Spark Brilliance for Educators (SparkUniverse Media, May 2025), giving teachers actionable tools and strategies to transform their classrooms, combat burnout, and create learning environments where both students and educators thrive.

Monica’s Ed.S in Education Leadership from the University of Idaho and her growing speaking engagements on the topics of educational success further solidify her commitment to educational excellence and leadership.
